As we head ever towards new and changing political environments, it is important to remember your power in a democracy. Your vote should never be taken for granted, no matter your party affiliation or identity.
Gone are the days of accepting the status-quo; now is the time for action. Call your representatives and list your concerns. Back primary challengers that align with your policy ideals, don’t simply vote for who any one party recommends.
Remember: we live in a representative democracy, politicians are supposed to work for us, not rule over us. Let your demands be known.

There are great resources you can use to amplify your voice. One such tool is an app called 5 Calls. 5 Calls will route you to your representatives so you can let your voice be heard.
If you don’t have time or are uncomfortable on a voice-call, you can use ResistBot, an automated tool for sending digital communications to your representatives.
